"more"...aka "trick or treat"

HALLOWEEN 2011
Halloween was so so so so much fun this year! Last year Kaylee and Stock had just barely learned to walk but we thought they would still like it but it wasn't the best idea...well this year THEY LOVED IT! We started out with a trunk or treat party at our ward a few days before halloween. They had activities for the kids, a little parade, dinner, and then trunk or treating. Stockton was hilarious and acting like he owned the place while strutting around holding up his bucket and saying "more" instead of "trick or treat". Mckaylee loved it as well but we couldn't even keep up with Stockton. Of course they were so hyper that night because of all the sugar. It's funny how you feel proud and happy as a parent to watch your kids learn the holiday traditions and love them!

Halloween night was better than I expected! The weather was unbelievable! Long sleeve shirts were all that was needed. Grandma Eileen came out and trick or treated with us for a little bit. We were some of the first trick or treaters out but I think we started the trend because many kids came out right after. DAYBREAK HAD SO MANY KIDS! It is such an amazing neighborhood to live in. I feel so blessed and things like Halloween make me realize that I am lucky. We were out for and hour and a half and they would've kept going but we decided to go over to the Smiths big BBQ/ halloween party. Smiths know how to host....they barbaque'd hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, etc for anyone and everyone!

I loved seeing my kids laugh and run around happily all night....I guess it was mostly due to all sugar. Let's face it they are like their mommy...they love candy! Happy Halloween :)
