A cute girl in my neighborhood has put together this community service project group for the summer. The first project was to go visit a nursing home. The kids made these cute flowers out of coffee filters, markers, spray bottles and wire. It was so easy and fun to make and the people we gave them to loved them! It was so neat to go in and just talk with these people. You can tell they loved any interaction and LOVED the little kids. I teared up on multiple occasions and my kids loved it too. The hugs they gave and songs they sang honestly melted me! I need to remember how easy it was and how much it was appreciated so I make it something I do more often.
