The Tate Family Christmas Party (Tay's mom)

Tay's cute mom does her Christmas party the weekend before Christmas which really helps when you have 3 families to visit and none of them live close to each other. She also starts the party earlier because our kids go to bed at 7 and they become super grumpy if we keep them up too late.

We ate yummy food (hawaiian haystacks) and many many treats, the kids ran around like they owned the place, we did a present exchange between the kids, acted out the nativity scene while reading in Luke, did a book exchange among the adults, and just enjoyed the spirit of celebrating. When our kids are happy, it makes us happy. They both had been battling ear infections and flu's so we were just grateful to have them both feeling good and having a good time. We had a great time and Eileen's house is the perfect "gathering place".
