Through the years....

I can't believe it has been 4 years since my sweet, adorable, and crazy twins were born.  Stockton and Mckaylee Cannon have been the best thing that happened to me.  I'm so blessed to have them as my children and to be able to raise them.  I love my kids so so so much!  Here are a few pics from the last 4 years.... 

Stockton:

-Always needs confirmation after everything he says so 80% of his sentences end with “right?”. 

-Love his dedes still and can’t go to bed without them.

--Love to garden and mow lawn with daddy

Best helper when doing any sort of chore but can’t seem to clean up toys on his own.  Give him a tub or fridge to clean and he’s your man.

-Loves his “basketball shorts” bc he wants to be like daddy

-likes to dress himself in the morning (even though 1/2 the time he comes up with orange sweats and a red long sleeve shirt in august)

-Loves hitting golf balls and actually is pretty good at it.

-Has gotten better at eating...love pancakes with syrup, butter spray and whip cream.  

-Always can manipulate us into staying up later by saying he’s hungry and usually eats toast before bed.

-Can’t go to bed without watching 3 episodes of peppa the pig (they are short)

-When he doesn’t want to leave he says “no I want to leave in this many minutes (while holding up both hands” or says “no 2 more minutes”

-loves rolly pollys

-As soon as we get home from church he immediately has to take off his “church clothes”

-Loves anything with sugar

-Loves splash pads but is terrified of pools. He holds onto us with a death grib around the neck when in the pool.  Is actually kind of crazy how terrified he is.  He is apprehensive to even step onto a step into the pool. He’s more content sitting on the side of the pool watching his sister jump in.

-Loves building with lego’s.  He has a pretty good attention span and will sit down and play with one toy for a lot longer than his sister.

-Loves trucks, firetrucks, and trains

-Has a smile that melts me

-Wants to try to do everything by himself and gets so frustrated when he can’t

-super stubborn (particular) about certain things and the way the are.

-Really is the sweetest child though and can be such a cuddle bug

-Loves root beer and sprite. At grandma pams he immediately goes outside and opens one up without us noticing.

-Best friend is Nixon and best frienemy is Mckaylee.  They can’t be apart from each other very long but they can drive each other crazy as well.  But when they play together it really is the sweetest thing.

-Fights me to go anywhere.  Seriously usually puts up a fuss about going to a lot of places even though he always ends up having fun and usually doesn’t want to leave. 

-is so quiet when he says his prayers that we have no idea what he says.  

-Loves songs before bed.  “Armies of helaman, twinkle twinkle, Barney’s I Love you, Whenever I touch, I’m so glad when daddy comes home, 

-Loves when daddy gets home

-When being impatient he says, “but it’s taking a long long long long long long time”. 

Mckaylee:

-has a big conscience.  When she gets in trouble she’s runs away and starts crying and then comes out and immediately gives you a big hug and says in the sweetest voice “I’m sorry mama or sorry daddy”. 

-Whenever she’s gets dressed she always feels cute and gives you a hug

-has to wear a headband 24 hours a day! Can’t go to sleep without one.  Speaking of hair she has the biggest narly mess in the back of her head that is nearly impossible to get out!

-Loves watching TV and playing on IPAD.  She can watch barbie, angelina ballerina, and other shows all day long.  Loves Peppa the pig and wonder pets.  Loves the dress up games on the ipad.

-Is such a girly girl.  Always wears a dress or a skirt but she HAS to choose it on her own!  She honestly can’t have me just choose an outfit.  If I go pick it out i have to bring up at least 2 choices.  She loves the shirt tutu dresses from costco.

-So picky about her jammies.  Again she has to choose.

-Has been totally potty trained for a year but nighttime is a different story.   

-Loves anything princess or barbie or fairy or baby.

-Loves swimming and is super daring in the water!  She could be in the pool all day long

-Loves eggs, salad, toast, fruit snacks, juice, pancakes, chips...really she is a good eater.

-When get somewhere she says “I beat you up” (meaning she was first)

-Still loves her water bottle when going to bed! Honestly it’s her crack.  Second in line is her blankie. 

-Loves to dance around and say “mama watch this” as she does her random dance moves.  It’s so cute to watch her in dance class.  She is so cute socializing with the other girls and doing her little dance moves.  She looks up with a shy smile hoping I’m watching her. 

-Is cute with Kacers when she gets in his face and smiles and says “Kacers”.  She also loves to tickle his belly.  He gut giggles.  

-Loves to ride her bike and learned how to ride without training wheels (aka stabilzers….that’s what peppa calls them) basically her first try.

-Her best friend is Nixon and her cousin Finlee and Jane and Stockton of course

-loves jumping on the tramp

-Loves coloring but really doesn’t have much of an attention span. She kind of has ADD and has to move on from one thing to the next pretty quickly unless it’s a TV show. 

-a few weeks ago she got a bad slice on her foot from the treadmill and was so brave about it!  She cried when it happened and when they did the stitches but the other 4 hours in between she was awesome and didn’t complain.  She had a hard time not swimming for 2 weeks but really was such a trooper about it! She has a pretty high pain tolerance. 

-Loves going to school and is always so proud of her makings from there. 

-fights me on going to primary (both of the twins do).
-they both usually want daddy to sing them to bed.  I honestly don't take it personally and kind of enjoy the break :) I know they love me <3 font="">
